There are many people who don’t realise the importance of choosing their car colour and then end up regretting the choice that they have made afterwards. This is a choice that you don’t want to rush into because you could be stuck with this colour for a long time changing the colour of your car is very expensive.

Here are just a few tips that will hopefully mean that you will be happy with your choice.

- There are some outrageous colours out there such as yellows, oranges and limes and while they may seem like a good idea at the time, it is probably not a good idea to go for these colours. Many people will just go off the colour of their car and the main reason for this is because the colour that they chose was just too original. If you do grow to no longer feel comfortable about the colour of your car it is probably because it was too wacky in the first place. The most common car colours like white, gray, and black are probably the least likely to lead to buyer’s remorse.

- Choose a colour that won’t show the dirt or else you will spend a lot of time cleaning it yourself or paying for it to be cleaned.

- It is helpful to actually see the colour on the exact model you are considering. There may be much more of an impact when you see a colour on the car as opposed to just looking at it in a picture. It is taking a risk if you choose a car colour without first seeing what it actually looks like in reality.

- Choose a few different colours and then put pictures of the car in these colours up on your wall for few days so that you have more time to think. Sometimes our first decision when choosing colour isn’t the best one, but over a few days we are more likely to reach a decision that we won’t later regret.
