The Coolest 2011 Superminis
Some of the coolest superminis will roll out in 2011. Get car insurance and hop in.
One of the cars that will be introduced in early 2011 is the Aston Martin Cygnet, priced at some 30,000 pounds. It is derived from the Toyota iQ but still has the unique ‘Aston’ feel. It’s fitted with a 1.3 liter engine, and will be available in the summer of 2011.
2011 cars which have some conventional features are Mazda2 and the new Nissan Micra. These will come with SKYACTIVE petrol engines, the high performance Japanese made engines that reduce carbon dioxide emissions.
A new fleet of models has been introduced by Chevrolet recently. One of them is an updated Aveo. This one will come with wider wheel arches, taking a chunky, aggressive styling like RS concept. It is designed considering the European market, so it will conform to the European standards including their taste of enhanced interiors and quality parts. Super quality at affordable prices is one combination that is sure to attract budget conscious motorists.
The enhanced version of the Fiat Panda was supposed to hit the market in 2009 but was delayed for budget reasons. It will now arrive in 2011. Little about it is known but it is assumed that the Panda will be an alluring, low cost alternative to the 500.
The Audi A1 is the Mini’s direct competitor in the premium small hatchback category. It comes with a 1.6 litre turbo diesel engine and its 3 door version is packed with equipment. It is based on the Volkswagen Golf with plush interiors and carries a high price tag.
Considering the competition in the supermini segment, the Mini will also be seen with updated Clubman, Cooper and convertible models for the year 2011. They’ll have new front looks with attractive bumpers and grilles. The upgrade includes new MP3 players, DAB radio and extra trim options. Additionally, its parent establishment BMW will provide a new 99g/km engine to make it the most eco-friendly car in the market. The Mini continues to be THE original premium small car in the UK. Even though it is priced high, it remains a favorite on account of its stunning quality, looks and features.
