Navstar’s Sports Model Car DVD Player
For anyone who loves listening to music while driving , the Navstar N510G Car DVD Player offers one of the easiest-to-use interfaces for in-car browsing of digital media. On the surface, the Navstar N510G Car DVD Player also receives a visual refresh with a new matte-finish faceplate that blends better with many vehicles’ dash panels and a brushed metal features.
As the saying goes, “if it ain’t broke, don’t try and fix it!” That seems to be the approach taken by Navstar Electronics when designing its new N510G digital Car DVD Player receiver.
Based primarily on the already impressive Navstar Car DVD Player receivers, the Navstar N510G keeps the same encoder-based interface, and lightning quick browsing of digital media while adding iPhone support and a few more watts of power to boot.
The Navstar N510G’s two-way encoder control scheme and Quick Search function makes it fairly simple to scrub through large libraries in seconds. Add-on modules allow the feature set to be extended.
The most acclaimed aspect of the N510Gs Car DVD Player’s interface is within the High Definition Touch Screen Control Panel. Navstar, calls this the Interface Encoder, for reasons we’ll mention later. The interface can actualize such actions as adjusting the volume or scrubbing through menu options and media. Reversing through menus is accomplished by hitting the back button to all around the touch screen control panel.
Pushing in within the touch screen control panel activates the second action within the High Definition Touch Screen Control Panel. People can chose between either Percentage search which jumps to a specific part of a list in 10 percent increments or Alphabet search which jumps through a list in order of initial letter. Search modes are easily chosen with a tap of the touch screen control panel, and allow for quick navigation of large digital media libraries. Here you’ll find iPod album artwork and menu information.
Found in the Navstar Car DVD Player’s, interface is home to additional touch screen buttons for skipping tracks, pausing playback, and power/selecting audio source. A telephone touch screen button answers incoming calls or activates voice-activated dialing when the N510G is paired with the Built-In Bluetooth hands-free module. The entire faceplate is backlit in cool blue light, but can be changed to red if that better suits your car or suv’s interior color scheme.
