Dacia Duster ESF, A Special Edition For The Skiers In France
Dacia launched in France a special version of the Duster. The SUV is designed for monitors in the French Ski School and costs 18,990 euros.
Dacia Duster seeks to make an attractive model for French skiers, even though the season is almost exhausted. Romanian manufacturer and its French division launched a special edition of the SUV’s, especially made for the French Ski School.
More specifically, the customized Romanian model can be just bought by the ski monitors affiliated to the organization, a thing which makes the ESF (Ecole de Ski Francaise) edition, to enjoy an exclusive character.
The special edition is based on the 110 horsepower diesel version, Euro 5, all-wheel drive and trim level Winner. To all these are added the ESF logo, found on the body, the rubber mats, an aluminum shield for the motor and the mooring rooftop bar, able to bear four pairs of skis.
The exterior will be recognized by the Platinum Grey metallic paint, which incur an additional amount of 450 euros. The final price reached at 18,990 euros with VAT included. Special Edition package comes with a set of boots, wearing the Glacier White color, especially for ski monitors. Dacia has not announced whether ESF special edition will be available to the large public or not.
Dacia joined the project Rediscover Romania and provided to the team five copies of Duster for an adventure that will cover 10,000 kilometers.
Dacia joined this year the campaign “Rediscover Romania” initiated Petrom. In the first phase of this project, five Dacia Duster have left on the route to help a team of 20 bloggers to discover what “Farsaungul” means and to visit the churches of stone from the Hateg Land, the park of dwarf dinosaurs or the Wine Museum from Dragasani. In this adventure, the five Dacia Duster will follow, each about 10,000 kilometers.
In 2010, “Rediscover Romania” was designated as the best social media campaign in Romania in 2010 at the Internetics contest. Last year’s edition of RoNewMedia gave the awards to the winning project, both awards “Best User Generated Content” and “Best Social Media Campaign”.
